hosted-projects.com is a company specialized in web hosting services for software project teams offering the Subversion revision control system coupled with project and issue management software like Trac and Bugzilla. In addition to our general hosting services we offer dedicated server hosting and consulting/development services.
hosted-projects.com was founded as the successor of svn-hosting.com in early 2006 by Michael Goettsche and is located in Germany.

Michael Goettsche - General manager/Support
Michael has years of experience in software development and system administration. Prior to founding hosted-projects.com he ran svn-hosting.com, a hosting company dedicated to Subversion and Trac. Having worked extensively with all the tools offered on hosted-projects.com he now uses his experience to deliver high-quality hosting solutions and other services to clients from around the world.
Joerg Goettsche - Support
Joerg has worked as a SAP consultant and thus has vast experience in understanding and dealing with customer needs. His primary job at hosted-projects.com is to handle support requests of customers.
Hardware
At hosted-projects.com we know how important reliability and security is to our customers. For this reason we have chosen Dell hardware and a first-class data center for hosting your accounts.
Our hardware must at least fulfill the following requirements:
- Hardware RAID-1 mirrored disk arrays. Should one disk fail no data is lost and no downtime occurs
- At least 2GB of memory
- Dual core CPUs or dual CPU systems
Of course, even fast hardware is useless when overloading it. We don't oversell our servers and don't push them to the limits.
Besides good hardware it is important that the data center is reliable as well. The data center we have chosen is located in Munich and connected to the redundant Level(3) backbone meaning that you can access your project at a good speed from anywhere in the world. The data center fulfills the following requirements:
- Guaranteed network uptime: 99.9%
- UPS hookup
- Redundant 9.6Gbit backbone
